Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan, two industry veterans come behind the mic for the first song to be released from Sanju, ‘Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya’.
The song takes the listener back to the 80s with Sunidhi’s intentionally nasal vocals, and the accompanying visuals starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are delightful. Ranbir, aka Sanju, is lip-syncing the woman’s portions because his father had apprehensions about his abilities to do the same.
The whacky lyrics for the track have been penned by Puneet Sharma while the song has been composed by Rohan-Rohan, for whom the film will almost feel like a Bollywood debut. This is, however, the duo’s second film, the first being the small budget Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai.
