Alternative rock outfit Anand Bhaskar Collective has released a new track ‘Jaadoogari’ and accompanying music video which is animated and directed by Mukund Sincro.
The latest track marks a sharp turn from the collective’s signature meld of Indian classical and hard rock—though hints of experimentation with new sounds were aplenty on their last track ‘Main Hoon Zameen’ which came out last year.
“It’s the second single from our EP Ufaq that was supposed to come out last year had the pandemic not thrown a huge wrench in the works. Despite the many challenges we faced, we kept working on our music and tomorrow the first of many songs we’ve written comes out,” Anand Bhaskar wrote on an Instagram post announcing the new single.
The animated music video captures the explosion of emotions that erupts with falling in love and explores a love story that can only be described as “out of this world”.
