Bengaluru based singer-songwriter Mahesh Raghunandan released his much-anticipated debut EP Accept.
Years of songwriting pouring out from the depths of his heart has resulted into a great sonic mix. Accept is a 5-track multi-genre debut EP reflecting on Mahesh’s versatility as a singer.
Bringing about a refreshing change from his usual acoustic guitar and singing combination, Mahesh has embarked on a grand musical journey with his debut EP along with Ramanan Chandramouli on guitars, Leslie Charles on bass, V Noel Aiyer on piano and organ, and Prabhu Murlaleedharan with a bang on drums.
The tracks are soulful, and Mahesh blends the best of funk, pop, R&B and neo-soul in the EP to set up a cornerstone of melodic and rhythm versatility.
The drums are just the right amount of groovy adding rhythmic charm to the snap of the bass and the smoothness of the piano. Mahesh seems to have outdone himself with this one, and it is safe to say that Accept will be a fresh hit.
