Smalltalk is a four-piece experimental music project based in Mumbai, drawing heavy influence from soul, RnB, rock, jazz and electronica. The band focuses on writing melodic, hook-driven songs with an easy listening veneer, simultaneously using them as vehicles for improvisation and sonic experimentation. Their stylistic voice is inspired by the likes of Vanilla, D’Angelo, Hiatus Kaiyote, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu and many others. On 18th March 2018, Smalltalk released their 4 track EP ‘Tacit’.
