This might be the first official release by Delhi-based quartet Shorthand but the jazz and blues band has been getting positive attention for some time now. After touring the country over the last few weeks, the band has now released its debut single, ‘Impressions’.
Its members hail from different cities and are influenced by different styles of music. The final product is an eclectic mix of soothing and innovative sounds. Sreya Muthukumar’s silky vocals flow beautifully over the impressive arrangements and create a lovely vibe, perfect for when you need to be with yourself or with an intimate group of friends.
